Choose a No-Extra-Cost Service:
1. Water Heater Tank Inspection
In the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque West Mesa areas, the water is notoriously hard, containing high mineral content. These minerals can build up in your water heater, reducing its efficiency and lifespan. They may also interact with your home’s copper pipes.
- When to consider this service: If it’s been more than 6 months since your water heater was flushed, it may be time for maintenance! We’ll inspect the tank for corrosion or signs that a flush of the water is needed, all at no cost while we’re already on site.
- Note: This inspection offer is for traditional tanked water heaters only. We also service tankless water heaters, but because flushing a tankless system is closed, there’s little to inspect. If you suspect your tankless system needs service, we can provide that but because that involves replacement parts, this service is not included for free. If your tanked water heater should be flushed, you can drain the water heater. There is an added charge for the water heater flush if we do that service.
2. Home Insulation Inspection
If you prefer, we’ll inspect your home’s insulation while we’re on site performing your requested service. This is especially important for homeowners with pitched roof homes to ensure their insulation is in good condition.
- Why it’s important: If your insulation has been compromised by water leaks or has compacted over time, it won’t provide the thermal barrier needed to keep your home energy efficient. Additionally, any rodent or bird infestation may damage the insulation, compromising indoor air quality.
- Next steps: If our inspection uncovers an issue, you may need to hire an exterminator to seal any entry points and restore your insulation for better energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
